STUX Underground Detectable Warning Tape is constructed using either
aluminium foil, or twin stainless steel wires, embedded into Polyethylene (PE) film. These metallic elements allow for easy detection from the surface using standard civils metal detecting equipment. The PE film stops degredation from harsh underground environments such as soil
alkalinity or acids, making this tape rot-resistant. Discovering buried lines, pipes, and cables becomes easy, thus preventing accidental damage to valuable underground utility installations. Its uniquely durable material, with excellent temperature resistance from minus 50°C to plus 120°C,
and 120-microns of thickness, allow the tape to provide robust durability, easily resisting tears and degradation over time, therefore suitable for long-lasting performance in the most extreme environments.
